To the mom yet to be: being a mother is not your worth, or who you are.
To the mom who is: being a mother is not your worth, or who you are.
To the mom who may never be: this is not your worth, or who you are.
You are stronger than you may know, and it is already strength that is within you. When you discover it, you will be able to move mountains. Your wisdom is a gift that can be built, find it by being humble enough to learn through other’s wisdom. You are or will be a shining star in someone’s life because of the sum total of you. You are many pieces gathered together to be you, and only you. You are the person who has become, and who may not be yet, ever growing and changing and transforming into who you are – right now in this moment. You are worthy to be cherished, and yet not more worthy than others. You are worthy to be loved, as you are worthy enough to love yourself, and yet not more worthy than others. You are more than the trendy, clutter-free, monochromatic pictures that is your social media account, or that cover your feed. Your true beauty is found in the differences you make. Your smile is simply enough to brighten someone’s day. Your love is enough to change the world.
You are strong enough, powerful enough, wise enough, and loved enough to be the key to change, to be the mover and the shaker of what is needed. You are you.
We honour the mother by seeing beyond the title. We see you. And from our point of view, you are simply and beautifully you.
Love the image. Debra - this piece is brilliant.
