Prioritize sleep

  • Eat nutritious meals

  • Exercise

  • Sunshine and fresh air

  • Time to yourself

Stay connected with your support network

  • Invest in relationships with family and friends

  • Share your feelings with supportive listeners

  • Connect with other new moms – Early Years Centre, Baby Groups, Baby and Me exercise classes, etc.

  • Don’t be afraid to ask for help!

Consider hiring a postpartum doula

  • Helps parents learn to care for and integrate with their baby

  • Offers emotional and practical support

  • Breastfeeding support

  • Can help with light housework and childcare

  • Connects you with community resources and information
